What happens during the Perimenopause and Menopause Consultation appointment?

Your initial consultation lasts up to 45 minutes, giving plenty of time to explore your symptoms and concerns in detail. During the appointment, your specialist will discuss: Your current symptoms and how they're affecting your daily life Your menstrual and menopause history Your medical history and any existing health conditions Current medications Lifestyle factors that may influence your symptoms Previous menopause treatments or HRT, if applicable Together, you'll discuss the most suitable treatment options based on your individual circumstances. This may include lifestyle recommendations, non-hormonal treatments, or Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), where appropriate. Follow-up appointments last up to 30 minutes and focus on reviewing your progress, discussing how your treatment is working, and making any adjustments if needed. Appointments are available either face-to-face at Stockton House or online via a secure video consultation.
